Support the School Trustees of Cowichan who have submitted a budget that restores services to Cowichan schools. Minister of Education George Abbott has threatened to fire this Board. This Board is standing up for fully funded quality public schools. They ran on a campaign of full funding and they are following through on their election commitment. Tell Mr. Abbott to respect these democratically elected Trustees and provide adequate provincial funding to meet the Cowichan Board’s educational needs.
